Farm Progress: ‘This Week in Agribusiness,’ May 6, 2023

Farm Progress featured Laurie Isley, USB Communication & Education Committee Chair and farmer-leader from Michigan, in Part Seven of “This Week in Agribusiness.” Isley discussed checkoff investments through the Communication & Education Committee that are reaching educators and students to share insight on the benefits of soy and soy-based products.

“‘Nourish the Future’ brings STEM teachers into one- or two-day workshops at the state level for hands-on experience while using agricultural products to help them teach science concepts,” said Isley. “It is not an add-on for them, but more so helping teachers understand how much science is used in agriculture.”
